| Who we are... We are a coalition of concerned individuals who care about the health and wellbeing of our children, our families, our schools, and our communities. What We Are Doing... We strive to reduce those risk factors that lead to alcohol/substance use, teen pregnancy, violence and school dropout. We are empowering Allegany County New York to collaboratively work together to create a healthy environment for our youth while encouraging positive change. What We Believe...
MEMBERSHIP & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT Becoming a member is easy! It's free and you decide how much time you want to commit. There are many different projects and workgroups you can join. The opportunities are endless! We work on community events like town hall meetings, school lock-ins, faith-based initiatives,implementing model programs in our communities, and we continue to develop our coalition. Our members include youth, parents, faith leaders, educators, health professionals, law enforcement, elected officials, business leaders, and civic organizations. |

| of the 12 school districts in Allegany County. These surveys have proven to be quite valuable in evaluating what strategies are needed to best address the needs of youth. | ||

| the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration. | ||
![]() | 2006-CYUS changed their name to Partners for Prevention in AlleganyCounty. | |
