Mission:  School Nurses Network of Allegany County strives to bridge the gaps in
Allegany County between the school community,
healthcare professionals, and the families we serve.

Objectives:  
  • Build a support network for school nurses in Allegany County

  • Develop and organize training on timely issues and relevant health certifications
    necessary to be an effective school nurse

  • Implement alcohol and substance abuse prevention strategies that will support the
    mission of Partners for Prevention in Allegany  County

  • Implement environmental strategies that increase the health and safety of youth in
    school.

  • Build the bridges between parents, youth, community, and schools.
